Diaspora Care z.s. is a non-profit, non-partisan association (spolek) based in Brno. We help foreigners in Czechia adapt and become part of society, protect their rights and dignity, and support good neighbourly relations with local people.
Some of us started our own lives in Czechia from scratch. That's why we know how much it matters to have someone by your side who will listen and point the way.

In 2014, Tereza and her husband helped Hanna's family, who had arrived from Donbas. She gave her a job and provided the material things they needed.
HannaShe has lived and worked in Czechia since 2014. She learned Czech and got to know Czech life. Today she helps people who have come to Czechia looking for a new home to settle in.
In 2022 she joined the effort to help refugees from Ukraine. In 2024 she also helped Táňa take her first steps in Czechia.
TáňaShe arrived from eastern Ukraine with her husband and her sick mother. In Czechia she quickly learned the language, started working and, with the help of others, arranged treatment for her mother.

We help migrant families, children and young people enter the education system, communicate with schools, and understand Czech culture and surroundings.
We organise meetups to practise Czech — in a calm and friendly atmosphere.
We support dialogue between generations and cultures, and good neighbourly relations between foreigners and the local community.

Diaspora Care z. s. is an association (spolek) entered in the register of associations kept by the Regional Court in Brno (L 32394), IČO 30061563. We are non-profit and non-partisan.
We are funded by subsidies, grants and donations. Profit is never shared among members or management — all funds go solely to our statutory purpose.
We are open to cooperation with public authorities, healthcare facilities, schools, employers and other non-profit organisations.

We work thanks to subsidies, grants and donations. Every contribution goes to helping real people — those just starting their life in Czechia.
